It seems so appropriate that Candice Leigh, HAHA volunteer, accessioned for the HAHA collection this quilt made by a number of Hermosa women in Ladies Aid and purchased at an auction by my mother, Mildred Hasselstrom. During the auction my mother got so excited to win that she bid against herself, raising the price. Because the money was going to a good cause, the auctioneer just smiled and kept going. If anyone knows the history of who made this quilt, please let us know at HAHA. # # #
