Museum Hours
The HAHA Museum now is open Wednesday through Saturday Noon to 4 pm We will also be open during special events, programs, or by appointment. Next Big Events
Raise the Roof Fundraiser Success! Thanks to the Hermosa community who supported our fundraising over the past year, and thanks to some very generous groups and single donors, our roof has been replaced. The HAHA Museum is open for touring during any of our events at the Museum. Free entry, donations welcomed to cover our operating costs. Thank you! Wednesday, September 30 through Saturday, October 3 -- Harvest Art Festival. Art on display with items for sale. Saturday, October 3 -- Come at 11 am for lunch at Ruth's Kitchen Food Truck and Root Beer Floats HAHA fundraiser. People's Choice Award voting will end at 3 pm and winners will be announced at 4 pm. Each person that votes will receive a discount coupon at The Sour or at TW Bar. Nice! Saturday, October 10 -- 12:30 to 3:30 pm Pumpkin Decor Class taught by Wanda Miller, "A Brush with Fate Studio." Cost $45 covers all materials. Learn to decorate pumpkins with poured paint or napkin decoupage, garnished with faux flowers & leaves. Call or text 605-381-2112 to register by October 7, limited to 10 participants. Monday, October 12 -- 6:30 pm HAHA Member Meeting. All are welcome. Tuesday, October 13 -- Hermosa Connects Mixer at the HAHA Museum. Details coming Saturday, October 24 -- 12:30 to 3:30 pm Oil Painting Class taught by Wanda Miller, certified Bob Ross Instructor, "A Brush with Fate Studio." Cost $45 covers all materials (but please bring a roll of paper towels). No stress, just the joy of painting. Call or text 605-381-2112 to register by October 22, limited to 10 participants. |
Next Member Meeting
Monday, October 12, 2026 6:30 pm at the HAHA Museum. (Usually we meet the second Tuesday of the month, but we will be hosting an event that night.) If you're at all interested in what HAHA will be doing this spring and summer, and would like to volunteer all year or just occasionally, we welcome you to join us. Stop in and see the Museum renovations, sign up to help with our monthly events and our weekly Museum hours and have some fun. Our name is HAHA by choice. Generally we meet the second Tuesday of the month, but please check here or on our HAHA Facebook page to verify the date, time, and location of the member meetings. Hermosa Arts & History Association

We strive to bring together residents of the greater Hermosa area to create a cohesive community based on our appreciation for each other's unique experiences, cultures, traditions, and histories -- and our common humanity. We are an all-volunteer organization with many active members who live in, or have ties to, Hermosa and eastern Custer County, South Dakota. As you can tell from our acronym we also have a lot of fun.
