How Can I Help HAHA?
You Can Become a HAHA Volunteer
We would love to have you join us at our monthly member meetings where we plan for upcoming events and coordinate what work needs to be done to accomplish our long-term goals. You can volunteer to work on a committee that best suits your interest, or volunteer to help us complete a short-term task.

In 2019 we will especially need volunteers to help with the Christmas Carnival-- decorating, managing games for the kids, coordinating the craft fair vendors, and helping with the soups and desserts. Christmas is just around the corner. Ho Ho Ho!

You Can Become a HAHA Booster
Help us spread the word about HAHA in Hermosa, in Custer County, and throughout the Black Hills and beyond.

Follow us on Facebook and share our posts with your friends-- we post updates about HAHA events, local and national stories about the arts or of historical interest, and we share cartoons and other humor a few times each week. There's a reason we're called HAHA!

You Can Donate to HAHA
HAHA is an all-volunteer association, organized as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit under IRS laws. Donations to HAHA are tax-deductible, as federal law allows. Donations go towards our long-range goal of renovating the HAHA building so that it can be used as a museum and community center. Donations also support many HAHA programs and events each year.

You Can Support HAHA through AmazonSmile
We all know that shopping locally helps our neighbors who own independent businesses. But online shopping gives us so many more choices and is so convenient. If you shop online, here’s a way to bring a little of your money back to your local community: sign up to support HAHA through AmazonSmile.

Here's how to sign up for Amazon Smile
  1. Go to https://smile.amazon.com or search for “Amazon Smile” in your browser.
  2. Sign in with your Amazon.com account name or email address, plus your password, just as you always do.
  3. Choose the charity you want to support by typing in Hermosa Arts & History Association. If you are already signed up for a different charity, it is easy to switch to HAHA. Or alternate between the charities you want to support.
  4. Use the Smile.Amazon website exactly as you would Amazon.
  5. Add a bookmark for smile.amazon.com to make it even easier to sign in each time you want to shop on Amazon and support HAHA.
  6. Ask you friends and relatives to sign up to support HAHA-- even if they live elsewhere.

 About Amazon Smile
The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charitable organization of your choice.

Every item available for purchase on www.amazon.com is also available on AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com) at the same price. Your Amazon webpages will look exactly the same and your account information (shipping address, credit card information) will transfer automatically.

0.5% may not sound like a lot, but it will add up over time and will be combined with all other HAHA supporters’ donations. Remember, the donated money is coming from Amazon— you pay the same amount you would if you shopped without supporting HAHA.

Thank you!
